Highbury House

Highbury House is another student accommodation project added to the Urban Circle portfolio.  The building is situated on the corner of Fox and Kruger Street in the trendy Maboneng area.  An additional floor will be added to the existing 3 storey light industrial building.  The design accommodates 56 units that will house 125 students. 

The existing facade is maintained as much as possible and large industrial type windows retained.

Large cutouts in the existing slabs were made in the centre of the building to allow the units up against the new atrium to receive natural light and ventilation.
