Hallmark House

New Doornfontein | Johannesburg | South Africa

The building was purchased by development company Propertuity to expand their Maboneng portfolio to the north of the city.  Hallmark House formally known as Hallmark Towers is situated in New Doornfontein, Johannesburg and was built in the 1970's.  The original building was an office block that housed different creative fashion houses and brands.

The commercial building has now been converted into a mixed-use development containing retail, hotel, residential units and a roof top bar and restaurant.

The design architects, Adjaye Associates, based in London, designed the refurbishment with the facade set back allowing for a balcony that wraps the entire building, encapsulating city living and views.  The building boasts 360° unobstructed views of the city.
